Richard Thornton is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in financial management and consulting. Currently serving as Finance Manager at Synertec Ltd since April 2021, Richard has previously held key positions including Senior Management Accountant at Viridor, Group Financial Controller at SHOON (HOLDINGS) LIMITED, and Founder of Thornton Vanderplank Ltd, where strategic consulting services were provided. Additional experience includes Director of Finance at Brunel Oilfield Services (UK) Ltd, focusing on the establishment of financial systems and controls, as well as Group Financial Controller at The Bristol Port Company.
