Chip McWilliams has a diverse work experience starting with their role as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army from 1990 to 2005. Chip served in various divisions and participated in planning and exercises. After leaving the military, Chip worked as an Attorney at FordHarrison LLP from 2002 to 2005. Chip then joined Littler Mendelson as Of Counsel from 2005 to 2014. Chip later worked at Consulate Health Care as Vice President of Labor-Management Relations in 2015, before being promoted to Senior Vice President in the same department, a position they held until 2022. In 2011, they established their own business, New Market Arms, specializing in the sale of antique firearms. Chip currently serves as the Senior Vice President for Labor-Management Relations at Synergy Healthcare Services, LLC, a position they began in 2022.
Chip McWilliams attended Virginia Military Institute from 1986 to 1990 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Chip then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from James Madison University, from 1998 to 2001. Later, Chip completed their education at Mercer University, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from 1999 to 2002.
