Richard Childress is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in federal service, primarily focusing on research and development, intelligence, systems, and acquisition. Currently serving as SME and Task Leader at Syneren Technologies Corporation since July 2013, Richard Childress manages efforts supporting the Operations Directorate of the National Weather Service. Previous roles include EVM Senior Manager at SRA International and EVM Manager at Unisys, in addition to consultancy at Thomas & Herbert Consulting. Richard Childress also spent over three decades at the US Department of Defense, contributing to major Army and Joint projects in various leadership capacities. Richard Childress holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
