Omri Ran has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. Omri began their career at Shalgon SA, where they provided software engineering consultancy services such as website and application maintenance and development, server updates, and migrating an iOS app to Android. In 2014, they moved to Synect as a Software Engineer. Prior to their software engineering career, Omri Ran worked as a Security Operation Supervisor at El-Al Israel Airlines Security from 2005 to 2012. In this role, they managed teams of 5-25 people and was responsible for the security process and safety of passengers and aircrafts.

Omri Ran attended Royal Holloway, University of London from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science.
