Ivan Perić has extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and innovation. Ivan currently works at Synechron as the Head of Global Artificial Intelligence R&D, where they lead advanced AI research and development, focusing on machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI, and computer vision. In addition to refining internal operational frameworks, Ivan also develops client-focused AI solutions, positioning Synechron as a leader in delivering AI-driven solutions. Prior to their current role, Ivan held various positions within the Synechron Innovation team, including Manager, Assistant Manager, Lead, and Associate.

Outside of Synechron, Ivan serves as an Advisory Board Member at the Serbian AI Society and holds a teaching position as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. Ivan has also worked as a lecturer at FTN-Informatika d.o.o. and as a software developer at 4Expand.

Ivan Perić holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Intelligent systems from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. Ivan obtained their Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science - Computing and Control Engineering from the same institution between 2015 and 2016. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science - Computing and Control Engineering from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, from 2011 to 2015. Ivan Perić completed their high school education in Computer Science at Technical School "Mihajlo Pupin" in Bijeljina from 2007 to 2011.
