Hallgrimur David Egilsson is a seasoned security engineer currently working with Syndis, where responsibilities include conducting penetration tests and goal-based attack simulations, alongside security consulting and internal improvements. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Information Security Officer at Svarmi for nearly nine years, overseeing cybersecurity projects and compliance, as well as system architecture and software development. Hallgrimur also held positions as Chief Technology Officer and System Architect for the Myriad project, focusing on self-chargeable drones for aerial data delivery, and gained teaching experience as a teaching assistant at Háskóli Íslands. Hallgrimur earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and holds two Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from Háskóli Íslands.
