Ravi Shah has extensive work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, with their most recent position being at Syndio starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Smith Micro Software, Inc. from April 2021 to July 2022 in the same role.

Before their role at Smith Micro Software, Inc., Ravi worked at Avast from June 2019 to July 2022 as a Site Reliability Engineer. Ravi also held the position of Operations Engineer from August 2018 to June 2019, where they focused on monitoring, creating operational dashboards, and automating processes using Python scripts. Ravi actively sought out better monitoring solutions during this time.

Ravi began their career as a Research Assistant at San José State University Research Foundation from September 2017 to May 2018, and concurrently served as a Teaching Assistant at San Jose State University from April 2017 to May 2018.

Ravi'searlier experience includes working as a Systems Engineer at Infosys from October 2014 to April 2016, where they received training in various areas such as operating systems, data structures, core Java, MySQL, and software development life cycle models. Ravi also worked as a Research Intern at Space Applications Centre, ISRO from January 2014 to May 2014, where they contributed to research on low complexity lossless Image Compression algorithms and demonstrated results using Matlab simulation environment.

Ravi Shah pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gujarat Technological University (GTU) from 2010 to 2014. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at San Jose State University from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
