Adam Reed has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Adam is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Syndio, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Reed Studios, LLC as the Principal Architect/Owner from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they focused on architecting and building complex distributed systems for clients in industries such as healthcare, finance, and ecommerce.

Before joining Reed Studios, LLC, Adam was an Engineering Manager at Calendly from 2018 to 2019. Adam managed a mix of onsite and remote engineers, conducted regular one-on-one meetings, and utilized KPIs to ensure engineering team's success.

From 2016 to 2018, Adam worked as a Team Lead Software Engineer at Patientco. Adam led a cross-functional team responsible for core user-facing products and payment infrastructure. Adam also worked on projects involving the development of a cloud-based credit card terminal API and a messaging service for patient communications.

Prior to that, Adam was employed at Gorilla Group from 2012 to 2015. Adam served as a Technical Architect - Innovation, analyzing common verticals among client ecommerce projects and architecting reusable modules. Adam also built internal tooling for CI/CD and environment migration. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Web Developer, leading implementation for client projects and serving as a technical liaison. Adam initially joined Gorilla Group as a Web Developer, customizing themes for client implementations and building JavaScript plugins.

Adam has also held roles outside of the technology industry. Adam was the General Manager of KRNL 89.7 FM, Cornell College's student radio station, from 2011 to 2012. Adam oversaw operations, managed staff, planned content, and ensured compliance with FCC regulations. Adam also worked as a Student Web Developer at Cornell College from 2008 to 2012, where they created a custom Content Management System for student organizations and managed student data using MySQL and Microsoft Access.

Furthermore, Adam worked as a Technical Communications Intern at Computer Troubleshooters USA in 2010. Adam led a team in developing an internal technical support structure, presented at a company conference, and wrote a project proposal for the company's CEO.

Adam Reed attended Cornell College from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their fields of study included Computer Science and Communications.
