Rose Marcantonio

Director, Quality and Process at Syncro Medical

Rose Marcantonio has extensive work experience in the software development industry, with a focus on the biomedical sector.

Rose is currently working as the Director of Quality and Process at Syncro Medical since April 2017. In this role, their responsibilities include overseeing the quality of software and documentation for products in the biomedical industry.

Prior to that, Rose held the position of Senior Technical Project Manager at Syncro Medical from August 2016 to April 2017. Rose'sduties included managing software development projects, acting as the technical lead, and ensuring the quality of software and documentation.

Before their Senior Technical Project Manager role, they worked as a Technical Project Manager at Syncro Medical from January 2004 to August 2016. In this role, Rose managed software development projects, served as the technical lead, and was responsible for ensuring the software and associated documentation met high standards.

Rose's earlier work experience includes a role as the Design Manager at IQnection Internet Services, Inc. in 2003, a Consultant at Syncro Technology Corp. in 2002, and the Manager of Software Systems at Neuron Therapeutics in 2001.

Rose also worked as the Manager of Product Software at Cytometrics, Inc. from 1998 to 2001.

Rose began their career as a Software Engineer at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center from 1989 to 1997, and prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the Naval Air Development Center from 1983 to 1989.

Rose Marcantonio completed their education at two institutions. Rose attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at Drexel University from 1982 to 1987, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering.

In addition to their degrees, Rose also holds several professional certifications. Rose obtained the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in December 2017. In April 2012, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS) and in December 2010, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification for Microsoft Project 2010, specializing in Managing Projects.
