Wilmarie Ríos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data analytics, product management, and risk management. As Vice President and Head of Internal Data Products & Capabilities at Synchrony since October 2021, Wilmarie established the Internal Data Products Team to enhance data-driven customer experiences and enterprise profitability. Previously, at Argus Information and Advisory Services, Wilmarie held the position of Vice President for Fraud and Credit Risk Management Solutions, leading the development of advanced analytics products. A graduate of Penn State University with a Master's in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, Wilmarie's career includes significant roles at Citi and Goldman Sachs, where data-driven insights significantly contributed to business performance. Wilmarie is also recognized as an Emerging Leader and an alumna of the Synchrony MOSAIC Women's Leadership Program in 2023.
