Pravesh Sharma is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience leading security initiatives across major organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Information Security for Synchrony in India since March 2021, Pravesh has previously held significant roles including Head of Cyber Security and Country CISO for HSBC from 2019 to 2021, and Head of Information Security and Technology Risk at Fidelity International from 2005 to 2019. Earlier in the career, Pravesh was Senior Manager at CMC Ltd, overseeing complex software projects, and served as a Data Warehouse Consultant for GE Capital, managing data solutions for the Consumer Finance Business. Pravesh also acted as an IT Consultant for SBM Bank Mauritius, focusing on electronic banking systems. Pravesh holds a B. Tech degree in Computer Science from Maharshi Dayanand University, earned in 1994.
