YUAN-YAO TU is a Senior Firmware Engineer at Synaptics Incorporated since November 2012, specializing in notebook touchpad firmware and algorithm development, performance tuning, function validation, and debugging. Previously, YUAN-YAO TU served as a Senior Software Engineer at HTC from August 2009 to November 2012, focusing on Windows Mobile (WM6). YUAN-YAO TU's early experience includes a role as a Graduate Student at NCTU from June 2007 to June 2009, where involvement in the "Ministry of Economic Affairs & Development Program" led to the development of a vehicle surrounding monitoring system utilizing a DSP processing board. YUAN-YAO TU earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on surveillance and real-time image processing in embedded systems from National Chiao Tung University (2007-2009) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from National Cheng Kung University (2004-2007).
