Poul Skov is an experienced professional in the field of solutions engineering and telecommunications, currently serving as the Manager of Solutions Engineering for the Americas at Synamedia since November 2018. In this role, Poul Skov assists US telco and media companies in enhancing video processing and content security while transitioning to cloud-enabled OTT streaming platforms. Prior to this position, Poul Skov worked at Cisco Systems for over 12 years, leading pre-sales systems engineering teams to support video network sales and architecture. Earlier experience includes managerial roles at Scientific-Atlanta, focusing on systems engineering for cable TV solutions, and product management at Arcodan A/S in Denmark, where responsibilities spanned R&D, product marketing, and sales support for fiber optics. Poul Skov holds a BS.E.E in Electronics Engineering (Communication) from the University of Southern Denmark.
