Gary Deaton

Client & Implementation Manager, Latin America & Caribbean at Symplicity

Gary Deaton has diverse work experience, ranging from directorial roles to client management and fundraising. Gary most recently worked as a Client & Implementation Manager for Symplicity Corporation, where they focused on Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to this, Gary served as the Director of Community Partnerships for The Anglo Mexican Foundation, overseeing strategic relationships and fundraising efforts. Gary also worked as the Head of Fundraising for the British Council in Mexico, where they successfully raised funds for cultural and educational initiatives. Gary's previous experience includes serving as the Director of eLearning & Talent Development for OpenTec and the National Director of Services for the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico, where they utilized their expertise in U.S./Mexico trade relations to improve bilateral business relations.

Gary Deaton obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky, which they attended from 1983 to 1987. Gary later pursued a Master's degree in Diplomacy & International Commerce and successfully completed it at the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce in 1988-1989. Additionally, they also earned a Master's degree in Diplomacy & International Commerce from the University of Kentucky during the same period.
