Lead Software Development Engineer In Test at Symphony

Sergio González Quirós has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and quality assurance. Sergio started their career at Tecnológico de Costa Rica, where they worked as a Computer Engineering student and later as a researcher in the Nanotechnology Research Program. At Universidad de Costa Rica, they worked as a software developer, specifically on a project involving the manual annotation of soccer matches from television signals.

After completing their academic roles, Sergio joined Indigo Telecom as a QA Engineer, where they provided QA services to U.S. customers for IT solutions and networking devices. Sergio then moved on to Testing Software, where they worked as a Chatbots Developer, collaborating with a developer team to create cognitive mobile applications using Watson IBM and API.AI Google technologies.

In 2018, Sergio joined Growth Acceleration Partners as a QA Automation Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for creating, executing, reviewing, and maintaining automated test cases. Sergio also developed innovative solutions and frameworks for automation efforts, integrated automation frameworks with CI/CD processes, and created full end-to-end test plans for testable components. Sergio provided training and coaching for automation testing and assigned tasks to be automated based on priorities.

Most recently, Sergio joined Symphony.com as a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test in 2020. Details about their responsibilities in this role are not provided.
