Łukasz Dróżdż has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Łukasz started as an Intern at Bank Przemyslowy SA, where they conducted statistical analysis of financial data and developed software for analysis. Łukasz then worked as a Translator at Cadexpert sp. z o.o., specializing in localizing software packages. At Humboldt University, they served as a Website Administrator, responsible for designing and administering the website of the COST A31 action of the EU.

Łukasz joined the Institute of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Sciences as a Linguist, where they coordinated and technically supervised parallel corpus acquisition in the ATLAS project. During their time at the University of Lodz, they worked as an IT Specialist, developing databases and software for processing linguistic data.

At Perzo Inc, they served as an NLP Backend Developer, and at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, they were a Research Assistant, contributing to the development of natural language processing tools and computational services.

Łukasz then worked as a Java Software Engineer at nPowered.pl before joining Symphony.com. At Symphony.com, Łukasz held multiple roles, including Platform Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and currently, they are serving as the Lead Software Engineer. Łukasz played a significant role in co-authoring MessageML V2, a markup language for complex financial objects.

Throughout their career, Łukasz Dróżdż has acquired expertise in software development, natural language processing, information retrieval, and information extraction.

Łukasz Dróżdż's education history is as follows:

From 2001 to 2010, they attended the University of Lodz for MA studies in English Philology.

In parallel, from 2001 to 2009, they were also an MA student at the University of Lodz, focusing on IT and Econometrics.

Prior to attending the University of Lodz, they studied at XXVI LO in Lodz from 1996 to 2001, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or field of study during this time.

Additionally, Łukasz Dróżdż has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as the OTP-AWSD2: AWS Developer - Deploying on AWS certification from edX. In the same year, they also acquired the AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native certification from Coursera, and the Data Manipulation at Scale: Systems and Algorithms certification, also from Coursera. Furthermore, they obtained the OTP-AWSD1: AWS Developer - Building on AWS certification from edX in 2019.

Earlier in their career, they earned the Software as a Service certification from edX in 2013, and the Machine Learning certification from Coursera in 2012. In the same year, they also obtained the Artificial Intelligence certification from edX.

Lastly, in 2009, they became a Certified MySQL Associate through MySQL.
