Amy McLaughlin is a seasoned arts administrator with extensive experience in operational management within cultural organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Administration at Symphony Space since January 2019, McLaughlin oversees human resources, office operations, payroll, and accounting for a diverse team of employees. Prior to this role, McLaughlin held various positions at MacDowell, including Assistant Director of the New York Office, where responsibilities included managing daily operations and board relations. Additional experience includes roles at The Museum of Modern Art, where McLaughlin provided support during a significant expansion, and earlier positions in legal and gallery settings. McLaughlin holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from The University of Georgia and a certification in Arts Management from New York University.
