Leigh Lapura is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and community leadership within the tech sector. Currently serving as a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador since August 2024, Leigh promotes the initiative to empower women in technology through events, mentorship, and content creation. As the Community Manager for Women Techmakers Cebu since January 2022, Leigh organizes impactful events, including International Women's Day celebrations. Additionally, in the role of Co-Lead at GDG Cebu, Leigh spearheads various tech events and workshops to foster a collaborative community for developers. Leigh has a robust technical background, currently functioning as a Full Stack Developer at Symph, where leadership is provided for a large healthcare app project, and previously holding roles as a Software Developer at ChannelFix.com, LLC, and as an intern at Infinite Refactor Inc. Leigh holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines and a Front-end Web Development Nanodegree from Udacity.
