Elizabeth Oviedo has had a diverse range of work experiences. Elizabeth is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Symmetry Software, where they are focused on expanding the legacy of their father's payroll tax APIs. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at the same company.
Before their tenure at Symmetry Software, Elizabeth worked as a Marketing Manager at the company from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they implemented an online content marketing strategy that resulted in significant revenue growth and increased homepage pageviews. Elizabeth also developed public relations strategies and built relationships with the media, leading to high-profile mentions in outlets such as the San Francisco Chronicle and the New York Times.
Elizabeth has also worked at Teach For America, where they held multiple roles. As the Manager of Development, they conducted research and utilized fundraising events to significantly increase the individual giving prospect pipeline. Elizabeth successfully raised $2.8 million in individual donations, the highest amount in the organization's history at the time. Elizabeth also served as the Director of Data Management, overseeing data collection and analysis for summer school students, and as a 1st Grade Teacher, achieving significant growth in student reading abilities and math mastery.

Elizabeth Oviedo's education history begins with their attendance at Phoenix Country Day School from 1999 to 2004. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Marketing, and a minor in French at Georgetown University from 2004 to 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, Elizabeth went on to pursue a Master of Education in Elementary Education at Arizona State University from 2008 to 2010. Later, they attended the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a dual degree, consisting of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science in Information Management.
