Marcus Sew Hoy is an experienced finance professional with a career spanning over 18 years. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Symmetry Investments since July 2019, Marcus previously held various director-level roles at Deutsche Bank from February 2006 to April 2019, focusing on fixed income and currency trading across multiple Asia-Pacific markets. Marcus's expertise includes asset swap, RV/basis trading, and market-making in FX forwards and interest rate swaps. As the founder of The Sew Hoy Method, Marcus provided foundational training in financial markets from March 2014 to December 2017. Early career experience includes a summer internship at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 2004. Marcus holds a Master's degree in Business, along with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce, with a focus on finance, economics, and accounting from the University of Otago.
