Rachel Dobrow Stone currently serves as Senior Counsel at Symetra, overseeing legal matters related to variable insurance and annuity products. With a diverse legal background, Rachel has previously worked as Corporate Counsel for Farmers New World Life Insurance Company, Associate General Counsel at PeaceHealth, and as an Associate Attorney at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and Miller Nash LLP, where expertise encompassed health law, regulatory compliance, and business law. In addition to a robust legal career, Rachel remains an active professional musician, performing as a timpanist and percussionist with various orchestras and ensembles including the Seattle Symphony and Oregon Symphony. Rachel holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law, a Master of Music from the University of Michigan, and an A.B. in East Asian Studies from Harvard University.
