Dan Safarpour has a diverse work experience. Dan started working at Altheimer Laboratory in 1991 as a Chemist, specializing in residue chemistry. Dan then moved on to the American Cyanamid Company in 1993, where they held multiple roles as a Research Chemist in Residue Chemistry and a Chemist in Toxicology Analysis. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as a Sr. Research Chemist at BASF, focusing on formulation analysis. In 2001, Dan joined Taxolog, Inc. as a Group Leader, overseeing the daily activities of an analytical lab. Most recently, since 2014, they have been an Expert Lecturer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Dan Safarpour obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biochemistry from the University of Arkansas, which they attended from 1987 to 1991. Dan then pursued a Ph.D. in Environmental Analytical Chemistry at Rutgers University, completing their studies from 1994 to 2001.
