Joel Pollino is an experienced technology manager specializing in breakthrough innovation, currently leading the Breakthrough Innovation program for Condensation Polymers at Syensqo since December 2023. Prior to this, Joel served as Breakthrough Innovation Manager and Solvay Fellow at Solvay from May 2012 to December 2023, overseeing a critical innovation portfolio in specialty polymer materials. Joel’s extensive background includes leadership roles at DuPont, where responsibilities ranged from Manufacturing Technology Manager to Principal Investigator in Central Research and Development. Joel holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Siena College.
