Jenny Lawler has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Jenny began their career in 1978 as a Secretary at the ELECTRICAL TRADES UNION OF AUST NSW, where they worked until 1982. From 1982 to 1991, they served as the Secretary / Operations Manager at Country Rugby League. In 1991, they joined Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness and held various roles, including EA to the Executive Director and Finance Officer, before becoming EA to the CEO in March 2020.

Jenny Lawler attended Penshurst Girls High School from 1971 to 1974.
