Thomas Tse has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Thomas began their career as a Software Developer at HSBC Technology Services in 1999, where they worked as a Development Consultant until 2011. In this role, they developed front-end components of multi-tiered Internet applications, mentored junior developers, and managed system testing for new Internet Banking functions.

Afterward, Thomas Tse worked remotely as a Quality Analyst at Feng Office from 2013 to 2014. Thomas then joined HSBC Technology Services again in 2014 as a Senior Development Analyst. In this role, they served as a Project Coordinator, where they coordinated teams in various locations for essential testing and procedures before production release. Their responsibilities included security testing, performance testing, capacity evaluation, as well as finding contact points of teams, discussing schedules, and tracking progress.

In 2016, Thomas Tse took on a role as a Quality Analyst (Practicum) at Christianson & Company. Thomas worked in this position from December 2016 to February 2017. Lastly, in 2018, they joined Sycle as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they are currently working.

Thomas Tse has a diverse education history with a focus on business analysis, software quality assurance and testing, project management, and computer science. In 2016 to 2018, they attended the UBC Faculty of Management and completed the Business Analysis Certificate Program. After that, they enrolled in the Hitek Computer School in Richmond, BC to pursue a Software Quality Assurance and Software Testing program. Thomas also received internal training in Project Management at HSBC. Additionally, Thomas Tse holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. In 2013, they obtained the ISTQB Foundation Level Certification from the Canadian Software Testing Board (CSTB).
