Ben Sternsmith has over 20 years of experience in sales and revenue-related roles. Ben began their career in 2000 as a Product Marketing Manager at Pixel Kinetix Inc., followed by a role as an Account Executive at Theirpanic Business Inc. in 2001. In 2003, they joined Oracle as a Regional Sales Manager for Fusion Middleware. In 2008, they moved to Information Builders as a Strategic Account Executive, and then to Salesforce in 2009 as Vice President of Commercial Sales. In 2015, they became Vice President of Sales at Lyft and led the business from a handful of reps and ~$1M to a ~$1B ARR business in 4+ years. In 2020, they joined Tonkean as Vice President of Sales & Customer Success and scaled the GTM team from a few folks to 25+, leading all revenue functions. In 2021, they became an Advisor at Sendoso and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Sybill. Finally, in 2022, they joined Strong DM as SVP Revenue.
Ben Sternsmith graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory with a High School Diploma. Ben then attended UC San Diego, majoring in Management Science. In April 2020, they obtained a certification from LinkedIn entitled "Becoming Head of Sales: Developing Your Playbook".
