Keith Kwan is an experienced actuarial professional with a career spanning over 17 years in the industry. Currently serving as an employee and appointed actuary at Takaful Malaysia since January 2017, Keith previously held the position of Assistant General Manager at Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad from April 2011 to June 2023, specializing in general insurance and takaful. Keith's experience also includes roles as Senior Actuarial Analyst at JPWALL and Actuarial Analyst at Ernst & Young, where responsibilities encompassed actuarial auditing across Hong Kong, mainland China, and Southeast Asia. Keith began the actuarial journey as an analyst at S.Yu & Partners Limited. Educationally, Keith is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, having pursued this designation from 2004 to 2013, and holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree with concentrations in Risk Management, Economics, and Finance from The University of Hong Kong.
