YanYan Wang began their work experience in 2009 as a Security Consultant for various clients, including tech companies, banks, insurance companies, and e-commerce and healthcare entities. In this role, they conducted security risk evaluations, led vulnerability management, implemented secure development policies, and performed threat modeling and security design review.

From 2011 to 2014, YanYan worked as a Senior Software Security Consultant at Fortify, where they focused on software security.

In 2013, they became an Application Security Architect Consultant, providing their expertise in application security architecture until 2016.

In 2017, YanYan joined YapStone as a Sr. Security Architect, and in 2018, they were promoted to Principal Security Architect. During their time at YapStone, they led secure development policies and conducted security training and presentations.

In 2018, YanYan transitioned to Syapse as a Cloud Application Security Architect.

Most recently, in 2020, YanYan joined Finix as the Staff Security Engineer. In this role, they established a security program from scratch and was responsible for the strategy, roadmap, execution of controls, and training.

YanYan Wang has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management of Information System from the University of Central Florida. They also hold a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same institution. In addition, YanYan Wang has obtained a certification in GSSP - Java from the SANS Institute.
