Weihang Tang has worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer at SWTCH since 2019. During their time there, they have built a cross-platform mobile application with Ionic & Angular from scratch that was published to the iOS and Android App Store. Weihang has also integrated mobile application with features including Google Map API, Firebase push notifications and real-time data through WebSockets. Additionally, they have designed new features with Ruby on Rails to allow administrators to manage chargers effectively, implemented new features that allow end users to communicate with EV chargers, and built RESTful API for four different applications. Weihang has also experienced in Stripe payment API integration, written RSpect test scripts for core functionalities, and investigated critical backend code errors with Airbrake and Datadog software. Weihang has also had experience with AWS including EC2, Route 53, RDS, etc. Prior to this, Weihang Tang worked as a Software Developer at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care from 2016.

Weihang Tang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University between 2013 and 2018.
