Floris Streefkerk is a Visual Arts instructor at the City of Richmond Hill since April 2014, responsible for creating and implementing visual arts course curricula and conducting lectures with technical demonstrations. In addition to this role, Floris has served as a Facility Guard at Sword Security since January 2014, where responsibilities include client interaction, parcel management, call fielding, and CCTV monitoring. Previous experience includes positions as Front Desk Clerk at Durham Region Traffic Operations Center, Administrative Assistant at Durham Region Children Services, Robert Half-Durham Region, Impact Auto Auctions, and Foreign Experience Development, with responsibilities ranging from client support and training to document management and communication with insurance companies. Floris holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from George Brown College, enhanced by education in expressive arts from Ruud Wackers Academie and Drawing Academy in the Netherlands.
