Ana Costa is an AI Product Manager at Sword Health, starting in April 2024, following a distinguished tenure as AI Engineer - Team Lead at PeekMed from August 2020 to April 2024. At PeekMed, Ana led the creation of product requirements, collaborated on FDA approvals for AI-based medical software, and managed team backlogs using Agile methodology. Previously, Ana was an AI Engineer responsible for implementing advanced deep learning models and supervising GANs for medical imaging applications. Ana also held leadership roles in student engineering organizations and completed several research internships in biomedical engineering, contributing to projects on generative models and rehabilitation technologies. Ana holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, completed in 2020.
