Jack B. is currently a Business Development professional at Swoop. Prior to this, Jack served as a Software Engineer at Aventas, Inc., where they worked closely with company leadership to develop software for the legal industry. As acting lead developer, Jack was responsible for the codebase, relaying technical requirements, and training other team members.

Some notable achievements during Jack's time at Aventas include architecting, designing, and building a rich text editor from scratch using JavaScript, HTML and Vue in Electron; writing a "legal parsing engine" for real-time syntax highlighting, auto-complete suggestions and auto-numbering; and writing and architecting a file system API for managing, importing, and exporting legal projects and files using Node.

Prior to their time at Aventas, Jack served as Lead Software Engineer at Super Deluxe from August 2018 to December 2018, and as Vehicle Data Editor – Data Content and Operations at Edmunds from February 2013 to January 2018.

Jack's first foray into the world of Information Technology was as an Information Technology Assistant at Northwestern University from May 2012 to November 2012. And prior to that, Jack worked as a Checkout Window Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2010 to May 2012.

Jack B. has a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and also attended Indiana University Bloomington.
