Simon Clifford has been employed in various roles since 2009. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as an Assistant at Port Phillip Animal Hospital. Simon then worked as an Intern at e-Go Aeroplanes from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Delegate Coordinator at the Australian Youth Aerospace Association. During the same time period, they were also the Chassis Engineer at Monash Motorsport. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Victorian State Representative at the Australian Youth Aerospace Association. Finally, from 2017 to 2020, they were the Chassis Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer at Monash Nova Rover, where they worked on the team's entry into the University Rover Challenge. In 2020, they also worked as a Customer Success Manager and Flight Operations & Manufacturing at Swoop Aero.
Simon Clifford attended St Michael's Grammar School from 2004 to 2012. Simon then went on to pursue a dual degree at Monash University, graduating in 2019 with a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce. Simon'sfield of study included Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.
