Mabel Mbendera has worked in a number of roles since 2009. Mabel began their career as a Client Executive at Advertising and Marketing Plus. In 2012, they became a Sales Account Executive at G4S Secure Solutions (Mw) Ltd, where they were responsible for developing business plans, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, developing new relationships, monitoring market trends, and continual business prospecting and bidding. In 2018, they moved to TotalEnergies as a General Trade Territory Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Swoop Aero as a Business Development Manager, where they are transforming the way the world moves essential supplies.

Mabel Mbendera obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature, General from Chancellor College, University of Malawi between 2006 and 2009.
