Shawn Bruce is the current Director of Sales Engineering at Swoogo. Prior to this, Shawn Bruce worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at Certain, Inc. from January 2016 to February 2021. In this role, Shawn was responsible for communicating and demonstrating Certain technology and product strategy to various audiences including prospects, customers, partners, staff, management and investors. Shawn possesses expert level and hands-on capability on all aspects of the Certain platform with the ability to effectively connect strategic vision, business practice, customer needs and software implementation. Shawn also played a key role in providing customer insight from the field back to services, product, marketing and engineering organizations; helped define and articulate customer needs and recommended how Certain’s platform would best meet those needs. Shawn established best practices and ensured application of them in architecting customer solutions that were innovative, effective, easily implemented, and advanced Certain’s competitive position in the marketplace.

Shawn Bruce has a degree in Graphic Communications Management from Murray State University. Shawn has experience in graphic design, web design, communications, marketing, and management. Shawn currently works as a high school teacher at Collinsville High School.
