Amith Vijaykumar has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Amith began their career at Oracle as an Associate Technical Analyst in the Disaster Recovery Management Team for the Cloud Services. In 2013, they worked as a Product Development Lead at Botrio Labs, developing a line-following robot and mapping gestures with Microsoft Kinect to control web games. Amith also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Clemson University during 2013. From 2015 to present, they have been a Staff Engineer and Research and Development Engineer at Swivl. As a Research and Development Engineer, they built a front end portal for data labeling of audio content, developed an end to end pipeline, created an audio processing pipeline, and trained a custom ML model. As an Electrical Design Engineer, they handled the full design cycle of the robot, increased standby time, and handled EMC tests.

Amith Vijaykumar obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Instrumentation Technology from B. M. S. College of Engineering between 2008 and 2012. Amith then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Intelligent systems from Clemson University between 2013 and 2015.
