Luca Degiovannini currently serves as the Director Southern Switzerland and Cluster Africa at Switzerland Global Enterprise since August 2022, focusing on enhancing economic exchanges between Africa and Switzerland while supporting Swiss companies in business growth. Prior to this role, Luca held the position of Senior Director Southern Switzerland, where responsibilities included customer acquisition and relationship management during the internationalization process. Luca's extensive experience at Mikron spanned from August 2008 to July 2022, culminating in the role of Head of Sales, overseeing sales activities for rotary transfer high productive systems. Previous positions at Mikron included Area Sales Manager and Trade Show Manager, beginning as a Mechanical Development Engineer. Earlier experience also includes a Mechanical Engineer role at Polytype and an apprenticeship as a polymechanic at Interroll SA. Luca holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Production and Automation from the College of High School of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg.
