Matt Magill currently serves as the Director of Controls Engineering at Switched Source LLC, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Magill accumulated significant experience at Sandia National Laboratories from July 2015 to January 2023, serving as both an R&D Controls Engineer and R&D Electronics Engineer. Notably, Magill also functioned as the Deputy Director at the Joint Hypersonics Transition Office from December 2020 to December 2022. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester. Additional experiences include internships at GE Global Research, John Deere, Sandia National Laboratories, and Harris RF Communications, contributing to various projects related to electric machines, telemetry systems, and radio testing.
