Tim Schier has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tim is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at SwitchDin since 2023. Prior to this, they were the CTO and Head of Product at eevi.life from 2018 to 2023, where they played a key role in landing flagship clients and building a high-performing product and engineering team.

Tim worked as a Product and R&D Tech Lead at Frontier Networks Pty Ltd from 2017 to 2018, where they delivered a successful internal product and built a proof of concept for a core product used in an investment pitch. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Engineer at Boeing from 2014 to 2016, where they led projects in GIS web data analytics and integration of computer vision machine learning components.

Tim also has experience working as a Consultant Engineering Lead at Queensland Rail in 2014 and as the VP of Engineering at Zero AI from 2013 to 2014, where they worked on voice recognition products.

Additionally, they worked as a Consultant R&D Engineer and Project Manager at Queensland Rail in 2012, where they managed multiple safety system projects, and as a Senior Consultant at Nova Systems and Diehl Aerospace GmbH, where they worked on various aerospace projects.

Tim's early experience includes working as a Senior Systems Engineer at Raytheon in 2009, where they led systems engineering for naval destroyer sensor components.

Tim Schier completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Systems) from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2002 to 2005. In 2008, they earned a Certificate IV in Project Management from the Australian College of Project Management.
