Makena Pule is a highly experienced professional in the field of genetics, currently serving as the Director of Lab Operations at Switch Bioworks since June 2022. Makena also held the position of Founding Senior Research Associate at the same organization. Prior experience includes roles such as Junior Specialist at The Arribere Lab from November 2017 to June 2019 and Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Cyert Lab from May 2015 to August 2017. Makena is in pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics at Stanford University, expected to graduate in 2026, and previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stanford University in 2017.
