Robert Glissmann is a seasoned procurement and engineering professional with extensive experience in various managerial roles across the energy and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Principal Procurement Manager at Swissgrid AG since December 2018, Robert specializes in public procurement for network construction projects. Previously, Robert held positions at General Electric (Switzerland) GmbH as Demand Management Leader for HRSG, and at ALSTOM (SWITZERLAND) LTD, where Robert led international teams focused on cost reduction and tendering activities for heat recovery steam generators. Robert's career also includes roles at FLENDER-GRAFFENSTADEN S.A. and MAN NUTZFAHRZEUGE AG, complemented by a Diplôme d’Ingénieur in Economics and Management from IFP School and a Dipl-Ing. Univ. in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
