Luis E. R. Mata is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management within the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Grid Project Manager at Swissgrid AG since October 2020, Luis previously held the same role at GE from 2008 to 2020. Earlier in the career, Luis worked at Mecalux from 2000 to 2008, advancing from Bid Project Manager to Project Design Engineer. Luis holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management from Kalaidos Fachhochschule Schweiz (2015-2017) and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo (1996-2000), along with one semester of study in Mechanical Engineering at Technische Hochschule Georg Agricola (2007-2008).
