Juri Tscherkaj is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in system operations and engineering. Currently serving as a Specialist in System Operations at Swissgrid AG since April 2020, Juri is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and managing incidents within the electricity transmission network of Switzerland. Previous roles include positions as a Masterant at Fraunhofer IFAM, where Juri conducted technical-economic analyses of electric vehicle fleets, and as a Projektingenieur at MAGNA Telemotive GmbH, focusing on electronic components and EMC measures throughout product life cycles. Juri also developed an inductive linear position sensor during a bachelor's internship at Lemförder Electronic GmbH. Juri holds a Master of Engineering in Sustainable Energy Systems from HSB Hochschule Bremen and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Hochschule Bielefeld.
