Andrew Somerville has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as the Slot Manager for Swiss International Air Lines since 2002, where responsibilities include managing airport slot issues and maintaining an optimal slot portfolio for Swiss and Edelweiss Air. Prior to this role, Andrew worked as a Flight Dispatcher at Crossair, planning and dispatching flights and preparing documentation for third-party airlines. Andrew's career began at Farnair Europe as an Operations Controller, focusing on flight planning and dispatch, and includes a noteworthy tenure with the Royal Air Force as an Operations and Air Traffic Control Assistant, where Andrew held various positions and junior management roles. Andrew holds education from the Sheffield School of Aeronautics.
