Basil Louvaris is an experienced professional in the field of underwriting and reinsurance, currently serving as a Senior Underwriter in Credit & Surety Reinsurance at Swiss Re since September 2023. Prior to this role, Basil worked as the Trade Finance North America Geographic Lead and Senior Underwriter at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions from March 2022 to September 2023. With a strong background in underwriting, Basil held the position of Vice President and Underwriting Manager at Euler Hermes from August 2013 to December 2019 and managed North America Political Risk at C.V.
