Anupal Borah is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in the insurance and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Vice President at Swiss Re since March 2016, Anupal focuses on safeguarding financial statements for the Life/Health business in Italy and Spain, while coordinating new business initiatives between Actuarial and Financial Planning & Analysis teams. Prior experience at Mercer India Consulting Private Limited from September 2008 to March 2016 involved leading a team of analysts and serving as a subject matter expert in pension valuations and baseline gain/loss analysis. Anupal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cotton College and a Master's in Actuarial Science from Amity School of Insurance & Actuarial Science, further supplemented by ongoing professional development through the Institute of Actuaries of India/UK.
