David Wood has a strong background in engineering and management. David began their career as an Engineer at Kimberly Clark, where they conducted trials and analyzed results to improve product performance and decrease manufacturing costs. David then moved on to work at USG as a Manager, where they were responsible for training and maintaining safety for a team of 32 employees, managing a gypsum mill with a capacity of 850,000 tons, and handling quality complaints for finished products. After that, Wood joined Swisher International Inc. as a Project Engineer, and later became the Director of Engineering and eventually the Vice President of Engineering.

David Wood attended Lakota HS from 1992 to 1996. David then went on to Miami University from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in Paper Science and Engineering. There is no information available about their education beyond their time at Miami University, except for professional progress at FCMA.
