About the role:
As the Director of Partner Programs within the Swirlds Labs business development team, your job is to drive our strategic partnerships across Enterprise Software Providers, Web3 Capability Partners, and System Integrators. You will own the Hedera Partner Program and demonstrate leadership and innovation to create the tools and processes that enable engagement with partners across the entire lifecycle of the relationship. From initial contact and education through to certification and pipeline management. You will work closely with the Hedera Developer Advocacy team, the HBAR Foundation and the Hashgraph Association to ensure the Hedera partner community grows to meet the needs of the market. You will source and close net new revenue opportunities for our products and services in conjunction with partners.
You may find yourself doing all of the following:
- Identifying, sourcing, educating, onboarding, training, and managing an ecosystem of Enterprise Software Providers, Web3 Capability Partners, and System Integrators
- Driving adoption of new technology products and services across Web2 and Web3 ecosystems, with a quarterly revenue goal set for the position
- Managing the appropriate structures, programs, and recruitment strategies that will firmly establish Hedera as the enterprise-grade public DLT of choice for Enterprise Software Providers, Web3 Capability Partners, and System Integrators to build high-impact, high-value use cases for their customers
- Being motivated in bringing projects and skilled in delivering revenue-generating partnerships for new products and services
- Supporting as an operational lead all partner-related engagements
- Defining and driving a partner training and certification program in partnership with the ecosystem foundation
- Building a rich developer community of skilled engineering firms
- Participating in and recording educational podcasts and video tutorials
- Meeting with partners at events and conferences
Qualification Requirements:
The Director of Partner Programs should be able to lean on his or her deep experience in building system integrator/channel partner relationships and driving new revenue for technology offerings. You will demonstrate strong operational excellence and show evidence of real innovation and execution.
- Existing skills managing systems integrators and major enterprise software vendor partnership programs for 5-7 years
- Proven track record of driving sales for emerging technology solutions in a quota environment
- Proven understanding of DLT market
- Solid and diverse partner program and pipeline management skills
- Understanding of enterprise applications
- Friendly and approachable; a leader
- Willingness to travel anywhere our communities live a few times every quarter
- Ability to work irregular hours and some weekends to support conferences, user groups, and other developer events
- Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to act effectively with only high-level direction
- Very social, a willingness and desire to make connections while meeting and talking with people
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
