Ernest Bruno has held a variety of positions in the tech and finance industries. In 2020, they began volunteering as a Frontend Engineer at the Be Good Project, where they worked closely with UI/UX designers and other volunteer developers to implement UI improvements on the organization's React Native, Ruby-on-Rails mobile application. In 2018, they began working as an Instructor at Epicodus, providing 400+ hours of training and aid on how to work with different coding frameworks. In 2017, they worked as a Club Staff at LA Fitness, where they maintained a record of all guests and members coming to the gym, handled incoming calls, and administered payments. In 2018, they interned at Seattle Against Slavery, where they improved the user interface of their responsive application built in Angular 2 and C#/ .Net CORE MVC. In 2016, they worked as a Bank Teller at Chase, assisting customers with standard teller transactions, managing loan and safety deposit box payments, and regulating customer traffic within the branch. Currently, Ernest is working as a Full Stack Engineer at SwingVision, and as an Instructional Associate/Teaching Assistant at General Assembly, where they guide students through the development of real world projects, provides detailed code reviews, and tracks student progress.

Ernest Bruno has a diverse educational background. Ernest began their educational journey at Franklin High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2012. Ernest then attended Seattle Central College, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS in Engineering in 2016. Ernest then attended the University of Washington, studying Engineering from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they attended Epicodus, where they received a Full Stack Web Development degree in Web Development. Currently, they are attending General Assembly, studying Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained a Software Engineering certification from General Assembly in February of 2022.
