Kyle Dufrene is an accomplished engineering manager and software engineer with extensive experience in leading teams and developing complex software solutions. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Swimply since March 2021, Kyle has overseen the hiring and management of over ten engineers while architecting backend infrastructure. Previous roles include Lead Software Engineer at Swimply, where leadership was provided to a team of backend and web engineers, and Software Engineer Team Lead at ASAP (formerly Waitr), managing cross-functional teams for driver and customer support systems. Kyle also held positions at Hampr as Lead Technical Architect, and various roles at ASAP and Digicomm Systems Inc., contributing significantly to web and backend development projects. Kyle's educational background includes a Computer Science degree from the University of New Orleans.
